about
'Fallout' is the first single from Metalogue & Fluff's album 'Slate Horizons' and pretty much sets the tone for the entire album. Inspired by current events, 'Fallout' turns our reality into a bleak vision of a post-apocalyptic nightmare.
In a wider sense, 'Fallout' serves as an allegory for loss, big change, finality and re-adaption. It's the story of loss, grieve and solitude, but also hope, survival, re-inventing oneself, strength and determination.
lyrics
So get me in there
Ever found the one you love
Really love
Now chase the shadows
Cause they're the only thing you have
You have
Skies are broken
Night and day its shapeless same
Pale with rain
Slate horizons
This concrete life of yours will never ever be the same
Lofty towers watch
When the city sleeps
Lightless corners in which
Our desires creep
Come home
Come home
Don't you ever
Come home
On lofty towers I watch
While the ashes sweep
Desolation makes
My desires creep
Come home
Come home
Don't you ever
Come home
